This User-Generated Content Policy (“Policy”) outlines the rules and expectations for any content submitted, uploaded, posted, or otherwise made available by users on our website (www.deadserious.living), including text, images, documents, and other materials (“User Content”).
By using our services and submitting any User Content, you agree to abide by this Policy.
Effective Date: 05/15/2025
User Content may include, but is not limited to:
• Group member submissions or additions
• Claim submissions and supporting documentation
• Tribute notes, farewell messages, or memorial uploads
• Public messages, comments, or shared testimonials (if applicable)
You retain ownership of any content you submit. However, by uploading or sharing content on our site, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and store your content for the purposes of delivering our services (e.g., processing claims or displaying tribute pages).
You are solely responsible for the User Content you provide. This means:
• You have the legal right to submit it.
• It does not violate any third-party rights or laws.
• You have permission from anyone identifiable in the content, if applicable.
To keep our space respectful, safe, and supportive, the following types of content are strictly prohibited:
• False or misleading information
• Content that is hateful, threatening, harassing, or abusive
• Anything sexually explicit or graphically violent
• Personally identifiable information not relevant to services (e.g., social security numbers)
• Content promoting self-harm, suicide, or illegal activities
• Submissions that impersonate another individual or entity
We reserve the right to remove, reject, or report any content that violates this Policy, at our sole discretion.
We understand this is a sensitive space. Please approach all submissions — whether related to claims, farewells, or memorial messages — with compassion, honesty, and care. We will not tolerate trolling, shaming, or disrespectful language about the deceased or their loved ones.
User-submitted documents and information provided during the claim process are treated with the highest respect and confidentiality, subject to our Privacy Policy. Submitting falsified or fraudulent documents may result in the denial of services and, if appropriate, legal action.
Some content (such as farewell messages or public tributes) may be reviewed before being posted publicly. We do our best to keep review times short, but we reserve the right to remove or delay any content that violates our standards or policies.
If you encounter content that appears to violate this Policy or makes you uncomfortable, please let us know immediately by emailing: support@deadserious.living
We may update this Policy from time to time. Continued use of our services after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the updated terms.
